Viking Electric's Scott Miesen to retire
Electrical distributor and services provider, Viking Electric, announced that Vice President of Marketing & Materials Scott Miesen will retire at the end of the year.
Miesen began his career in the electrical industry with General Electric, and held sales leadership positions at Philips Advance and an electrical distributor competitor. In 2006, he joined Viking Electric as the contractor sales manager for the Twin Cities market. In 2010, he was promoted to vice president sales – Eastern Region and relocated to Milwaukee. In January 2017, he moved back to Minneapolis where he has served in his present role since.
“I want to thank Scott for his unwavering commitment to Viking Electric, our customers, and our associates,” Viking Electric President Stacy Stanslaski said. “As VP of Marketing & Materials, Scott built and led a strong, talented team through the extraordinary supply chain challenges of late. His leadership has had a major impact on the growth and success of our organization, and we wish him well in retirement,” Stanslaski said.
In retirement, Scott looks forward to hunting, golfing, more health club visits, and more family time.
