NetPlus Alliance moves into new headquarters

NetPlus Alliance celebrated the opening of its new Lockport headquarters in early November.

The new location, 57 Canal St., is steeped in the company’s rich history.

NetPlus started in the 1800s as Ward Brothers, a machine shop that operated for a time out of the same building along the Erie Canal. NetPlus’s new building was also the original site of Harrison Radiator, which comprised 30 percent of Ward Brothers’s business.

“Old and new come together with this move,” said Jennifer Murphy, president of NetPlus Alliance. “The historic former manufacturing building has been fully restored by a respected WNY developer, and converted into an open-concept office space to facilitate collaboration and accommodate our growing team.”

At the celebration, NetPlus Alliance welcomed distributor and preferred supplier members from across the country, as well as members of the Lockport community, as they cut the ribbon to the new space.

This year marked the 15-year anniversary for the national buying group with more than 390 industrial and contractor supplies distributor members.
