Simonds Saw achieves ISO certification
Simonds Saw announced that the company’s Fitchburg, Massachusetts, facility is now ISO 9001:2015 Certified for the manufacture, sale and distribution of band saw blade products throughout the world.
The certificate was issued Sept. 28, 2017.
“We are very proud to have received this distinguished declaration,” said David Miles, president of Simonds Saw. “Simonds Saw was the first and only band saw blade manufacturer with multiple facility ISO certification in the U.S.A. and Germany. This distinction, in addition to our new certification, reflects our unwavering commitment to consistently provide innovative, high-quality products to our customers not only in the U.S.A., but throughout the world.”
ISO 9001:2015 Certification ensures that a company demonstrates its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. It also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of a system, including processes for improvement of the system, and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
