Ohio Transmission acquires Compressed Air Systems

Ohio Transmission Corp. has acquired Compressed Air Systems LLC based in Lafayette, Louisiana.


Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Compressed Air Systems' owners, Gerry Lasseigne, Sr., and his wife, Marianne Lasseigne, will oversee the transition, with the company retaining its name as part of Ohio Transmission Corp.'s Air Technologies division.

Compressed Air Systems provides compressed air products and services to businesses in Louisiana, including offshore drilling, marine companies, chemical plants, refineries and industrial businesses. It is a Quincy Compressor Master Distributor and has locations in Baton Rouge and New Orleans as well.

Ohio Transmission Corp. now has 34 locations and 900 employees in the South, Midwest and Northeast, as well as 14 service shops.
