Manufactured goods orders up 1.3 percent
New orders for manufactured goods increased 1.3 percent in November to $488.1 billion, the U.S. Census Bureau reported.
This followed a 0.4 percent October increase. Shipments, up 11 of the last 12 months, increased 1.2 percent to $491.2 billion.
Unfilled orders increased 0.1 percent to $1,137.1 billion. Inventories increased 0.4 percent to $665.1 billion.
